Our Latest Avant-Garde Series Coffee:  El Edén Purple

Alright friends, here is another exciting addition to our experimental coffee lineup, El Eden Purple. Brought to us by Ally Open, this marks the second time we’ve sourced coffee from them to deliver something unique.

Given the success of our co-fermented coffees like Santa Monica and the enthusiastic response from our audience, this release was an easy decision. This coffee’s limited availability made it a must-have for our collection. It’s a unique offering that perfectly aligns with where we see the coffee industry heading—and we’re excited to take you on this journey with us.

With its one-of-a-kind flavor profile, this coffee isn’t just a drink; it’s an experience.

This coffee hails from Finca Monteblanco, run by Rodrigo Sanchez Valencia in the San Adolfo municipality near Pitalito, Colombia. Located high in the mountains of Vereda La Tocora, the 18-hectare farm is steeped in tradition, passed down from Rodrigo’s grandfather.

Monteblanco sits atop a hill, with coffee planted along its slopes and state-of-the-art wet mill and drying facilities at the crest. The farm has adapted to a changing climate, with harvesting now spread across ten months instead of a concentrated peak season. Coffees are prepared for export at the cutting-edge Aromas del Sur dry mill in Pitalito.
