This coffee holds a special place in our hearts, as it was sourced by Oakville’s own ITSO Coffee. ITSO Coffee has a direct relationship with Nyeri Hill Farm, allowing us in Ontario access to two wonderful varietals: a fully washed SL28 and a washed Batian.
This coffee surprised us at the cupping table, and we’re thrilled to feature it in our classic pour-over series.
Nyeri Hill Farm, located in the heart of Kenya’s Nyeri County, is a privately owned estate with a rich history dating back to 1904, serving as a cornerstone of the region’s agricultural heritage. This coffee features AA-grade beans, indicating a larger size and high quality, known for their intense, complex flavor profile and careful processing to highlight their best qualities.
What to expect from this cup: a clean, floral profile with a tea-like body—an ideal everyday pour-over option. This is a fruity cup with bright acidity, a light body, and a delightful rose aroma.
